Floating Dock – 800 t. The floating dock has been built in order to permit the docking of ships having a displacement up to 800 t the width of docked ships up to 12,5 m, and their length up to 75 m. The maximum draught of docked ships is of 4 m the floating dock may work in river or sea basins. the floating dock is provided with a diesel-generating unit in order to supply the required power with the existing consumers on dock, and two cranes of 2 tf x 8 m each. The dock is attended by a crew of 6 persons. It has one cabin for Dock-Chief, one cabin for the Assistant, two cabins for two persons each, one kitchen, one mess room and one sanitary group.

Deck machinery
Anchoring installation composed by:

• four anchors of 1750 kg each, two at the each end of dock

• 100 m chain anchor F42 for each anchor

Mooring installation composed by:

• four capstans type AK5: pull-force 3150daN, normal speed 18m/min

• 16 bollards

• 4 guide rollers

The dock is equipped with two cranes of 2rf in each side with following main characteristics:

Information about our alliance shipyard :

• The annual production capacity is about 40.000 dwt., the equivalent of 12 vessels.

• On the assembling berth from the First factory, equipped with cranes of 50 tf and 16tf can be mounted in the same time 8 vessels; on the assembling berth from the second Factory can be assembled simultaneously 2 vessels.

• The slipway, completely mechanized, is used for vessels up to 10.000 dwt, with a max. length of 120m.

• The lifting-launching way from the Second Factory, meant for ship repairs can lift – launch vessels up to 1000 to, with a length of 120 m.

• The outfitting quay from the First Factory has an available working area of 450 sq.m, with double berth and a basin with an (surface) area of 6.240 sq.m , the depth of water is 5,75m.

• The outfitting quay from the Second Factory has an available working area and a depth of water of 5,75m, without basin.
