Barge Europa 2 B – 1700 t. The pushed barge, is a nonpropelled river vessel, destined for transport of general cargo, bulk cargo, ore and containers, on navigable danube including accumulation lakes and the channels, where the height of the waves, is less than 0,6 m. barge can carry 31 pcs. of 20 ft containers. barge has ice framing.
Is designed for transport of general wares, bulk wares and containers on the Danube river and Danube-Rhim Main channel. The ship is built in 3 variants: without covers, with covers and with a cabin. The hatch covers are metalic, with manual drive and are weather tight – The ship is entirely built from steel plates assembled by welding.
When the ship is built with a cabin, in the ship’s bow under the main deck is arranged a room with all the necessities for the accommodation of one person.
The ship contains an anchor in bow and a manoeuvring-mooring installation, the feeding with electrical energy being assured from the pusher.
The electric wiring of barge permits the taking over and the transmission of electrical energy to her own installation or to another barges of the convoy.

Information about our alliance shipyard :
- The annual production capacity is about 40.000 dwt., the equivalent of 12 vessels.
- On the assembling berth from the First factory, equipped with cranes of 50 tf and 16tf can be mounted in the same time 8 vessels; on the assembling berth from the second Factory can be assembled simultaneously 2 vessels.
- The slipway, completely mechanized, is used for vessels up to 10.000 dwt, with a max. length of 120m.
- The lifting-launching way from the Second Factory, meant for ship repairs can lift – launch vessels up to 1000 to, with a length of 120 m.
